Food! Not So Glorious Food!

Today I took Owen to the MD to see about a cough and I expressed my concern about him slimming down (I can almost feel his ribs), she chuckled just a little and reassured me that I could relax. She did say that he was ready for single ingredient foods if I was ready, so today we tried rice cereal mixed with formula. Here is Owen's version of how it went:

Gross! Mom no! Please no more!

Dad help! She isn't stopping! Should I fake gag?

Fine, I'll get rid of it myself!

The food was not as well received as I thought it would be, I guess we will have to try again tomorrow. Owen, by the way, is now up to 18 lbs-not a pound lost.
I guess that he is just getting longer and spreading out the pudge.
