Oh How I Love Coupons!

I love to use coupons! Even better, I love to buy something that is on sale with a coupon, or even better - a buy one get one plus a coupon!!!! It's a bit crazy, I know, but I really enjoy the thrill of saving money. So today my great find was the Gazillion Bubble Blower for free. I had a coupon for Kroger, if you transfer a Rx to their pharmacy then you get $20 store credit.... They happened to sell the bubble blower and the rest is bubbly fun in the back yard. :)

Pictures of the house

Some flowery plants on the side of the house.
Front. Notice the green grass despite the drought.
Living room and part of dining room.
Dining room and Kitchen. Really the entire downstairs is one big room.

So we are in with lots of projects planned. Wish us luck. :)
If you have any carpentry skills and are willing to lend a hand let us know.

Trouble On My Hands

We still have full and half empty boxes littered through out the house. I'm doing my best but it is hard to decide where to put things. Owen is having a blast with it, it's like a wonderland for a 1 year old. So when I'm not unpacking I'm usually cleaning up after the tornado of a mess Owen has left behind. And, yes, I do work with him to teach him to not make messes and more importantly to clean them up - but come on - that only goes so far with a toddler...

Early morning - "You found stick notes where? Maybe Dad did it."

Brunch time ish - "What? Did you not want me to do this?"

After Lunch - "Are you really surprised? Seriously?"

After dinner and bath - He's at is again.

10 minutes later he has found and tasted a permanent marker and stolen a watch.

Despite all the messes, we're having a great time and often a good laugh.

Saturday, Sunday and Monday

This past Saturday was wonderful because we were able to spend time with family. Christi and Skot went to Switzerland and had a day layover in Atlanta! So we went to see them at the Waldron's. We always have a great time there. The bummer was when we were nearly home and realized that we had left Bear. :( Owen was sad and had a hard time with out him.

Sunday we went to our new ward, the church building is small but it's a good bunch of people. Church is now at 1pm (nap time) so Owen was going wild for the lack of sleep. We had to leave during the third hour because he was just going nuts! He fell asleep before we were out of the parking lot. After a good snooze he was back to his usual self.

Monday Owen was still in need of Bear and was seriously missing the little guy. I caught him rocking in the glider hugging another bear, it was so sad. So after Garett got home we piled in the car and drove to the GNC where Robbie works (Bob had driven him down from Buford - Thank you!) and reunited Owen with his pal. He was so happy! He gave him tons of hugs and kisses and patted his head. I love to see him so happy.

Owen trying to find a replacement for Bear.

Owen's new room.

Owen pushing buttons on Daddy's clock. It's a favorite past time of his.

Reunited with Bear!

Nite - Nite time is much easier with Bear.

NEW PICTURES COMING SOON - I PROMISE!

Sorry - I know all these posts with no pictures is so lame. I have plenty of excuses but I will skip them all for now. So we are now in our new home in Canton GA. We had a great move with all the help we needed. Thank you to everyone who helped! Our home is a work in progress - boxes every where, but we're getting things put away the best we can. We are all adjusting to our new surroundings, it's more apparent on Owen since he has more bruises to prove it. We love our new neighbors! There are little kids in nearly every house! And the moms are stay-at-home like me so we have people to play with and visit with through out the day. It's great! We go to our new ward for the first time this Sunday and we are looking forward to meeting our new church family. I'm sure they are wonderful.

The goal is to post pictures tomorrow, so check back soon. Oh - by the way, the plants I was bragging about growing are now dead. So sad.
