Accept Life's Imperfections
When you have the perfect baby it's easy to become dissatisfied with other aspects of your life. So as you rock or feed your baby late at night, take a moment to consider your day.
Recall the imperfections and frustrations (laundry still in the hamper; those thank-you cards still unwritten) and compare them with your achievements (your child loved and fed, soothed and nurtured for twenty-four whole hours). Spend this time acknowledging that being a mother is the most time-consuming job in the world. And way more rewarding than doing laundry.
