The neighborhood egg hunt was a flop for us. We showed up just in time to hear the kids go running and screaming for the eggs however, we were still too late to get any eggs. Taylor was disappointed, Owen didn't know the difference. We looked around for the Eater Bunny and the face painting but those hadn't started yet so we went on home for some fun of our own.
Taylor decided to practice egg hunt with Owen to prep for the big day. They had a load of fun hiding and hunting over and over again.

Owen and Taylor kept ending an egg short. :) Guess who else knows how to hunt. :)Marilee was a natural, no instruction needed.
Right around bed time we got around to coloring and decorating the eggs.
These are Wendi's specialty confetti eggs in the making. She spend a few months carefully cracking cleaning these eggs for Easter.

While we were making the eggs the kids kept bring up how excited they were that Christi was coming into town. What kept cracking me up is how each of them have a special nick name for her. Over the last 7 years Christi has been Aunt Sissy, Kiki, Kissty and Crusty. Mya kept saying "my Crusty eggs" ie she wanted to make an egg for Christi. :) I love it!!!

It looks like ya'll had great fun!!! So what did the confetti eggs look like in the end?? I am really curious to see it come together.
